India made its mark at EICMA 2025, the world’s largest two-wheeler show in Milan, with major motorcycle manufacturers like TVS Motor Company, Royal Enfield, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, Hero MotoCorp, and Ultraviolette Automotive unveiling their bold new plans for the global market. The event, held on November 4, 2025, showcased a growing focus on electric vehicles (EVs), cutting-edge designs, and future mobility concepts.
TVS and Royal Enfield Lead the Charge
TVS Motor Company marked its first appearance at EICMA, captivating audiences with its six new products. This included the much-anticipated Tangent RR Concept, eFX electric motorcycle, and Apache RTX 300. TVS also showcased its extensive investment in the British brand Norton, which it acquired after Norton’s bankruptcy in 2020. With this, TVS is set to make a splash in Europe, aligning with their £200 million investment in reviving the legendary brand.
Royal Enfield, celebrating its 125th anniversary, wowed attendees with its new models, including the Bullet 650, Classic 650 125th Anniversary Special Edition, and the Flying Flea FF.S6 electric scrambler, expected to launch by 2026. The company’s emphasis on both legacy and innovation resonated strongly, marking a new chapter in its history.
Hero MotoCorp Makes a Bold Entry into High-Performance EVs
Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest motorcycle manufacturer, made a powerful statement at EICMA with the debut of the Vida Novus EV range, consisting of the NEX 1, NEX 2, and NEX 3. The NEX 1 is a portable, foldable micro-mobility scooter, while the NEX 2 is a self-balancing trike. The NEX 3 is a compact four-wheeled vehicle designed for urban commuting. Hero also launched the XPulse 210 Dakar Edition, solidifying its entry into the high-performance EV segment.
Ultraviolette and Honda Drive the Future
Ultraviolette, the Bengaluru-based EV startup, captured attention with its UV Crossfade smart carbon-fiber helmet, offering real-time rider-to-rider connectivity and enhanced safety features. Priced at ₹19,900, the helmet is an innovation that complements Ultraviolette’s vision of smart mobility.
Meanwhile, Honda revealed its first electric motorcycle, the Honda WN7, alongside the CB1000GT Sport Tourer and V3R 900 E-Compressor Prototype featuring a new V3 engine. Honda’s commitment to electrification was on full display, marking the company’s entry into the future of two-wheeled transportation.
