Solid-State Batteries for Future EVs
Rimac’s collaboration with Prologium aims to co-develop solid-state batteries, which are believed to offer significant advantages over traditional lithium-ion batteries. These new batteries will provide a range of 500 to 600 kilometers per charge, addressing a key concern for EV owners. Additionally, they will feature ultra-fast charging capabilities, with the ability to charge from 10% to 80% in under 10 minutes.
Battery Factory in France
Prologium Technology is also investing in a new battery factory in France, set to open in 2028. This facility will play a crucial role in scaling up the production of these next-generation batteries.
