The 2026 Lotus Emira arrives with notable updates in performance, refinement, and pricing. Lotus announced in June that the V6 SE would become the flagship model for the U.S., while the Emira Turbo will serve as the new entry-level trim. As order books open, pricing details are beginning to surface.

According to CarBuzz, the Emira Turbo will start at $106,900. This variant features a four-cylinder turbocharged engine sourced from Mercedes-AMG, delivering 360 horsepower. While it costs more than the previous year’s base model—which started at $102,250—it also benefits from upgraded systems and mechanical improvements.

Stepping up, the Emira V6 SE begins at $112,900. This model retains its 3.5-liter supercharged V6, which produces 400 horsepower. However, Lotus has reworked its suspension, refined its dampers, and made alignment changes to enhance ride quality and handling. These adjustments make the V6 SE even more performance-focused and road-comfort ready.

Every 2026 Lotus Emira, regardless of engine choice, gets a redesigned cooling system. The rerouted setup improves airflow to the main radiator and the transmission cooler while also cutting weight. Lotus also tweaked the car’s eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, promising smoother gear changes and better response.

The new model year brings aesthetic upgrades too. Buyers can now choose between two fresh color options—Eos Green and Purple Haze Metallic—each adding $2,950 to the base price. For those wanting something more exclusive, Tangerine Orange returns as a premium paint option priced at $7,800.

Another new offering is the Racing Line trim. Priced from $115,900 (excluding destination), this variant adds visual flair with a hand-painted lower pinstripe, unique 20-inch wheels, and distinct badging. While it doesn’t boost performance specs, it enhances the Emira’s appeal for collectors and enthusiasts looking for standout styling.

While Lotus has yet to officially confirm all the prices, they are expected to remain close to those reported by forums and consumer outlets. Motor1 has reached out to the company for verification and will update the pricing once confirmed.

The 2026 Emira reflects Lotus’s commitment to refining its driver-focused ethos. Though it’s now more expensive, it offers better tech, more precise handling, and greater visual customization. For fans of the brand, it’s a sign that Lotus is evolving without compromising its heritage.
