At the Japan Mobility Show last October, Toyota revealed its Century Coupe concept. It was a one-off design, meant to showcase the brand’s luxury vision. The concept wasn’t intended for production but gave us a glimpse of what Toyota might produce. A new rendering by digital artist Nikita Chuicko (Kelsonik) shows how the Toyota Century Coupe SUV could look in production.
Kelsonik’s rendering takes the Century Coupe concept and removes the SUV-like features. The front end, which had an SUV feel, now looks more like a sports coupe. The rendering replaces the large air vents with the skid plate design seen in the concept. This change gives the car a more streamlined, sports car-like appearance.

The rendering also lowers the car’s stance. It now sits closer to the ground, creating a more athletic look. Kelsonik eliminates the large black gloss trim from the concept. The previous design made the car look too high, but now it appears more grounded and balanced. This change improves both the car’s visual appeal and proportions.
The door sills in the concept were massive. Kelsonik reduced them in the rendering, giving the car a cleaner, sleeker appearance. This change also opens up more space inside the car, making it more comfortable for passengers.
The rear of the car sees some significant changes. The Toyota Century Coupe SUV now has a rear windshield, unlike the concept, which lacked one. The floating rear pillar is gone, replaced with a sleek body-color panel. This update makes the car’s design more cohesive and refined.
In the concept, the car sported a bold 60-layer orange paint job. Kelsonik’s rendering opts for a more traditional Toyota silver finish. This change gives the Toyota Century Coupe SUV a more elegant, sophisticated look, which suits a luxury vehicle.
This reimagined Toyota Century Coupe SUV could compete with luxury brands like Rolls-Royce. The car’s presence is similar to the Rolls-Royce Wraith and Spectre coupes, although the Century would likely not be an electric car.
Kelsonik’s version also features a coach-opening door, enhancing the car’s luxury appeal. This attention to detail aligns with Toyota’s goal to make Century a global luxury brand, showcasing the pride and spirit of Japan.
Although this Toyota Century Coupe SUV is an exciting concept, Toyota is more likely to produce a traditional SUV. Still, the idea of this luxury coupe excites car enthusiasts who dream of seeing Toyota enter the high-end market.
