A New Era of Bespoke Luxury with Programme Solitaire
The Bugatti Brouillard comes from Programme Solitaire, an offering that goes far beyond Bugatti’s Sur Mesure customization. Instead of altering an existing model, the program lets clients design a Bugatti from the ground up. This approach revives the brand’s legendary coachbuilding tradition.
Bugatti will build only two custom cars each year under this program. The Brouillard is the first, making it an instant icon for the automotive world.
Design That Marries Elegance and Aerodynamics
Inspired by the Mistral, the Brouillard features horizontal LED lights at the front, arrow-shaped LED taillights at the rear, and a fixed ducktail spoiler for style and stability. Dark accents frame the bumper, while an illuminated “BUGATTI” wordmark adds presence. A fixed glass roof fills the cabin with light and offers a panoramic view.
The center spine design flows seamlessly from front to back. It creates a visual link between the car’s sculpted exterior and refined interior.
Engineering Excellence on the W-16 Platform
The Bugatti Brouillard rides on the proven W-16 platform from the Chiron and Mistral. Its quad-turbocharged engine produces 1,578 horsepower. The carbon-fiber and aluminum chassis keeps weight low and rigidity high, delivering agility without compromising strength.
Bugatti Design Director Frank Heyl explains that crafting this car meant combining thermodynamics, aerodynamics, and advanced engineering with a dignified design philosophy agreed upon by the client and the brand.
A Bespoke Interior for the Owner Alone
Inside, the Brouillard showcases complete personalization. Tartan-patterned custom fabrics pair with green-tinted carbon fiber and machined aluminum. Embroidered horse motifs pay tribute to Ettore Bugatti’s passion for horses. Each seat is molded to the driver’s body for comfort and support.
The aluminum gear shifter holds a glass insert containing a miniature horse sculpture. Every element—from material selection to ergonomics—reflects the owner’s vision.
Exclusivity Comes at an Unspoken Price
Bugatti has not released the Brouillard’s price. Experts estimate it to exceed $30 million, given the rarity, craftsmanship, and performance.
